Virginia P. Madla, M.D.
Dr. Madla received her medical degree from University of St. Tomas, Philippines. Post Graduate studies including internship, General Practice, Pediatrics and Allergy and Clinical Immunology were completed at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Case Western University and Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital in Cleveland, OH in 1972. Dr. Madla has been in private medical practice since 1972. Dr. Madla’s vast experience in treating allergic diseases, asthma and immune problems is evidenced by her professional presence as a board certified allergist and clinical immunologist. Dr. Madla is married, and the proud mother and grandmother to an ever-expanding family. In her free time, she enjoys tennis and periodic trips to the Philippines for medical missions. She completed her Fellowship in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas and her Pediatric Residency at the University of Florida- Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola, Florida. She received her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. She has been practicing medicine since 1989. As a specialist, Dr. Gozum has experience and background in evaluating and caring patients of all ages- seeing children and adults with allergic disorders and asthmatic problems. Dr Gozum has staff privileges at Central DuPage Hospital, Edward Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital, Rush Copley Medical Center and Valley West Community Hospital. She is at present a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and Illinois Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
